Those who live in foreign lands should recite the Vél Maaral hymn daily.
This will protect them at all times.
The Vél Maaral hymn venerates Sri Muruga's Vél (spear) and respectfully invokes the protector aspect of God.
Pilots should recite the Mayil Virutham hymn daily.
If they do this, they won't encounter problems in the air.
And their landings will be as graceful as that of a peacock!

Without Soorya, whither life on our planet?
So all of us must pay our respects to Soorya everyday.
One of the easiest ways is by meditating on the following hymn a minimum of 19 times every day in the morning:
Jabaa kusuma sangaasamThis hymn adores Sri Soorya as the destroyer of all of one's bad karma.
kaasyapéyam mahaa-dvithim
thamórim sarva paavagnam
pranathósmi divaakaram.
The Most Compassionate One!
It's the Universal Mother who cradles the entire universe and all that it contains in her loving embrace.
It's the Mother's loving embrace that conquers everything.
After all, is any protest possible against this all consuming love?
Is there a single power in the universe that hasn't bowed down before the Universal Mother's love? No.
She's the beginningless beginning and the endless end, the absolute Empress of all that was, that is and will be.
The loving embrace of the Universal Mother removes all contradictions.
It's this loving embrace that sustains the universe.
To bask in the love of the Universal Mother is a feeling that no words can describe.
It has to be experienced by everyone of us. This is the goal of all life forms.
The sweetness of a billion full moons pales into insignificance before the sweetness of the Mother's love.
When one has experienced the love of the Universal Mother, where's the need for yoga and gnana?
After all, isn't the Mother's love the very goal of all yogis and gnanis?
So what's the easiest way to reach God?
Just submit to the Universal Mother's loving embrace.
Surrender to the bliss that's her love.
That's all. Nothing else is required.
