The Lord of the March of Time

Sri Kaala Bairava is the divine Lord who oversees the march of time. Thus it's very important that we worship Sri Kaala Bairava on the new year day and request Him to bless us with happiness, prosperity and spiritual progress throughout the next twelve months. Perform archana and abishekam ceremonies for Sri Kaala Bairava on the new year day.

On Pramaadhi New Year day, worship Sri Kaala Bairava in the town of Vairampatti near Thirupatthoor which is on the Karaikudi-Madurai route. Chant the Védas in honor of Sri Kaala Bairava. Worship him with punugu and a garland of cashew nuts; distribute the cashew nuts to the poor as anna dhaanam. The results of this worship are relief from losses in business and solutions to problems in the workplace and in family life.
