Ashta Prathaapa Giri Valam Days
Eight Special Days at Arunachala
Nov/17/99 to Nov/24/99
The Siddhas have designed a special eight day giri valam worship procedure for this
Pramaadhi year (mid April 1999 to mid April 2000). This is the Ashta Prathaapa
Arunachala Giri Valam worship procedure.
It's an eight day spiritual observance that occurs during the Pramaadhi year, i.e., once every 60 years.
If we miss this opportunity, we'll have to wait 60 years before this
opportunity will present itself to us again. Will be around at that time?
Even if we're around, will be in a position to perform this eight day
worship procedure at that time? Will we be healthy enough to do it? Rather than try
to find answers to these questions, let's just perform Ashta Prathaapa Arunachala
Giri Valam everyday from Nov/17/99 to Nov/24/99 as suggested by the Siddhas.
This is the smart way of making use of spiritual opportunities.
What's unique about the giri valam procedure on every one of these eight days?
