INTRODUCTION Mother Aurobindo
We should understand the divine connection between Yogi Aurobindo and Mother Aurobindo. Yogi Aurobindo is the divine teacher and Mother Aurobindo is the holy disciple of Guru Aurobindo. After shining as a pristine disciple of Guru Aurobindo, she became popular as mother Aurobindo. It is a divine blessing that the human kind got from the association of the two greatest yogis of the time.

The mortal remains of Mother Aurobindo have been kept near that of Yogi Aurobindo in Pondicherry, South India. Such is the holiness of the place that it has become an eternal fountain of grace to bless one and all, who with an attitude of total surrender and unflinching faith can immerse themselves in the ever flowing grace of eternal blessing. During the current phase, in the movement of the great wheel of time, majority of people will be significantly materialistic with minimal or non-existent spiritual attitude. This phase is called Kaliyug. The Almighty , now and then send a representative who is usually described as YOGI or SAINT to give solace to the seekers. Such representatives do appear anywhere in the world in any community speaking any language. But their mission is to live in consonance with nature and guide the people towards inner realisation. Without such guide, the spiritual progress to the desired level is not possible for any person. Mother Aurobindo is one such spiritual guide with an ever flowing grace, understanding and smile, showing the right path forever to all those who seek her blessings.

THE MOTHER AS YOGINI
The word Siddha denotes the person who is a direct messenger from the Almighty. None can find out their origin; we do not comprehend fully their ways of life; but their teachings and deeds will have such a profound depth, it is better to place all our faith at their feet and follow their directives without entertaining an iota of doubt in our minds about them or their ways of life. They are also beyond any analysis ,scientific or otherwise. But their only mission is to give solution to the miseries and salvation to the seekers.

These Divine Messengers are variously described as Yogi, Siddha, Saint, Sage or Enlightened Soul (Gyani). They all descend from different divine worlds with different missions. The mother was a divine light, capable of converting negative deeds to positive, bestowing grace even on those who miserably lack faith and unshackling people from their severe Karmic miseries and agonies. She is praised even by other Siddhas as an eternal flame to enlighten all those groping in the dark alley of life not knowing the right path out.

LAND OF HAMSADHWANI Mother Aurobindo
Mother Aurobindo originated as a divine messenger from the divine land called HAMSADHWANI . Loosely translated, this word means ‘sound of swans’. Swan is a divine bird capable of drinking only the milk from the mixture of milk and water. This feat is not possible by any other being or scientific instrument. Similarly, the divine messengers from the Hamsadhwani land, absorbs the exclusive divine sound decibels and the divine rays of light ; they offer what they have absorbed for the betterment of all living things without any discrimination of geographical area, language, religion etc. To acquire this power of assimilation of the divine sounds and light rays for the dissemination to all from the smallest creature such as amoeba, vegetation , animals, birds and human beings ; it requires a tremendous amount of penance and self restraint foregoing food, sleep etc for a long ,long time.

Mother Aurobindo is one such yogi capable of imparting the divine grace to one and all. Mother Aurobindo had in her eyes enormous powers of Yoga. Persons with such powers need not utter even a single word. When they look at people who had come to pay their obeisance, there is a flow a mercy and blessings from the eyes to the needy worshippers. Not only that, the powers in their eyes can dissolve the problems of the people and the society as well. But the simplicity in their life style usually belies the tremendous power they otherwise possess and their stupendous capability of imparting the same to others in an instant . Such is the power of a Yogi that it can make a roaring and charging lion stand still on its tracks and even make it kneel down! Mother Aurobindo was capable of conversing with king cobra in its own language and that too affectionately!

The place of rest for her mortal remains overflows with an eternal light to all the worshippers even to day and for ever. Even the contemporary sages. saints and Yogis glorify Mother Aurobindo as one beyond all their spiritual stages. Her Grace is beyond religion, caste, creed ; it is not confined only to this world; Her Grace showers on celestial beings, animal kingdom, vegetation and unto all that are animate and inanimate.

We should understand that even the articles which we usually understand as inanimate, have lives of their own. These include the crockery, cutlery and the vessels used for preparations and serving of food. The careless handling of these results in breakage and unsavory noises. Such things foretell the arguments and strained relationships in the household. It will be surprising to us to know that Mother Aurobindo used to listen to the grievances of these vessels . Therefore, the Mother has always advised against careless handling of cooking vessels. Many ladies are not aware of this. During cooking or other household chores, a pleasant and diving music or religious recitals will purify the ambience within the house. In contrast loud noises of the vessels or television will indicate the omen of the ensuing restlessness, arguments among the household members.

AROUND THE WORLD IN SEARCH OF GURU
The divine child MIRA was born in France. She traveled to India in search of her Guru, Yogi Aurobindo. She then adopted the name of her Guru as her own to become the world famous Mother Aurobindo - the Mother.

MOTHER AUROBINDO - THE SPIRITUAL TREE Mother Aurobindo
Even though she was born in a different country, she made all to realise that the spiritual mother land for all living things is India.

The cosmos has unimaginable millions of worlds. In this world where we live, India shines as a divine motherland. Realizing this as well as that her Guru is Yogi Aurobindo, she blossomed as a spiritual flower in the holy garden of Yogi Aurobindo in Pondicherry. This flower ripened to a huge divine tree perpetually emanating the rays of eternal light, called the Jyothi , in the temple of Yogi Aurobindo .

The literal meaning of ‘aravindh’ ( the root word for Aurobindo ) is divine fragrance. Another meaning is the flower, the divine lotus. Mother Aurobindo absorbed the divine fragrance from all the five elements of nature (the sky, air, fire, water and earth), from which this world is made and transmitted the potent and latent energy of these elements through her eyes to the required levels for all her desciples. The disproportion in the energy levels in any being ,results in sickness- both physical and mental . When she was present amongst us , in all her simplicity , she was transmitting through her eyes a rare yogic energy to thousands of people everyday. Hence such divine messengers are worshipped as 'Walking Gods'.

It is a blessing to experience within oneself the divinity , even when we are alive from amongst the five basic natural elements mentioned above. Mother Aurobindo had this very holy spiritual status.

INCINERATION OF NEGATIVE FORCES
Very many years back, the people who practiced occult sciences tried to misuse their power to disturb and shake off the world community. At that time Mother Aurobindo with all her divine affection confronted them directly and through her noble affection alone, reformed them, put them on the right track and made them work for constructive purposes and saved the society from further peril.

At that time, certain occultists had particular spiritual bodies in their control. These occultists were in Central East Asia, particularly in Egypt. The leader of these occultists was an expert in the field of occult sciences . While he started his career for the welfare of the people ,he became slowly very ambitious and egoistic. As time passed he misused his skills and knowledge to suppress all and made his writ run in many countries. His power was such that if he just looks at a tall palm tree and utter 'fall', the full tree will get uprooted and fall down. When he looks at the earth all the things underneath the earth were visible to him.

Even at the tender age, Mother Aurobindo was a child Yogi. All the suppressed kings approached the divine child mother Aurobindo. The mother looked at the occultist penetratingly for a few seconds. Then suddenly he lost consciousness, fell down and went into a coma. All the ill treatment he meted out to everybody started appearing in his mental screen. Realizing the enormous harm he had done to thousands of people, he started crying uncontrollably, prostrated himself at the divine feet of the child and sought pardon.

In India, it is customary that the cow should be milked only after allowing the calf to feed first. In other countries, this practice was not followed for fear of reduction in the yield of milk if the calf is allowed to feed first. It was the Divine Mother who proved that actually the yield increases from the hormone glands if the calf is fed first. Such was her love, from the infancy, towards all animals and vegetation.

THE SPECTACULAR SPLENDOUR OF MOTHER Mother Aurobindo
There always is a spiritual meaning behind every physical form of each saint, sage, Yogi and Siddha and this physical form will be in consonance with the invisible halo (the ring or circular light behind the head) . Mother Aurobindo's physical appearance was to see and realize God in a crystal clear manner in any form or shape through her own eyes. Such Yogi generates holiness even if they happen to be only for a few seconds in a place.

For example, even to day there is a continuous flow of a rare divine energy from the reclining chair she was using. Therefore the articles such as the pen, table, chair, the flowerpots etc, used by such Yogi will be a source of perennial flow of divine energy. The same flow will also be there in all the articles received through her lotus hands.

THE POWER OF DARSHAN
Everyday morning on seeing the picture of Mother Aurobindo when she was a child and to meditate on the same for sometime, one can develop will power, the tendency to help and serve others. It also removes impure thoughts from the mind. Mother Aurobindo's sitting posture induces peace and tranquillity in the family. The standing posture of Mother Aurobindo will make the children grow up with good habits and work for welfare of the society. It also removes the discriminatory feelings amongst people. Mother Aurobindo's smiling face will drive away scarcity of food. Thus for each of Mother's appearance is a distinct and different divine power. Only those who can understand these become SADGURUS (Spiritual mentor). Homage to all these on Sundays will bestow lot of blessings.

Mother Aurobindo The energy of five natural elements, is spread amongst the 72,000 Naadis (the invisible connectors between creator and created). If one can identify which connector is full of energy of what element, then he acquires the divine capacity to understand the past, to realize the present and visualize the future. He acquires the cause and the effect of each individual in this birth; from this, he understands a way out of difficulties / diseases. Mother Aurobindo had this spiritual attainment. Through her eyes, she was bestowing to all, the concentrates of the energies of the five basic elements. As mother Aurobindo was a reservoir without depletion of these energies, she could give such a divine blessing by a mere sight to thousands of people at the same time.

YOGI AUROBINDO
These unique powers multiply themselves millions of times when they are used exclusively for betterment of others and not for oneself. All the divine powers embedded in Mother Aurobindo were originally with her Guru Yogi Aurobindo. Yogi Aurobindo had imparted all his powers as a divine gift to his noble disciple Mother Aurobindo. Then, now and forever, Mother Aurobindo is serving very many thousands of people spiritually even surpassing her own Guru Yogi Aurobindo. In fact no disciple can ever surpass his/her Guru. However in such cases as that of Yogi Aurobindo the Guru imparts and offers all his divine powers for upliftment of mankind in general. In such cases , we describe that the disciple has surpassed the mentor, guru.

ASTRAL TRAVEL TO THE DIVINE LAND Mother Aurobindo
One of the wonderful divine service of Mother Aurobindo is to establish congregation of the ‘subtle’ bodies (synchronization of the mind and soul without the physical body) of her staunch devotees who meditate on her before falling asleep. This subtle body (of mind and soul without the physical body) is capable of astral travel during deep sleep. Mother Aurobindo invites these astral bodies in her Hamsadhvani land. There she blesses them with her physical presence along with transmission of soothing rays of peace and also the power for fulfillment of pending tasks . Then she sends these astral bodies back to the physical bodies before they are awake.(The freshness we feel after a deep sleep is because of similar experience). Even to - day at certain appointed times , Mother Aurobindo invites many an astral bodies to hug, console and extend a helping hand to them . There are many souls which experience this divine bliss now also.

APPEARANCE AND BLESSINGS
The confluence of the five noble streams of love, sympathy, celestial light, spiritual strength and divine experiences is in the face of Mother Aurobindo to shower grace with the smile through the power of the eyes.

For ordinary people, it is not possible to sustain direct eye contact with spiritually developed souls like the saints, sages, siddhas and yogis. As the sights of these noble souls are enormous reservoirs with stupendous energy, they usually allow their eyes to scan the faces in a congregation without looking at any one particular person deeply. Only those who are totally unselfish, devout and who spend all their time in the divine and social service are capable of receiving the illumination even for a few moments.

Only the guidance of guru will lead us to salvation and divinity. This is the lesson mother Aurobindo has imparted to us through her mortal remains being kept near the eternal flame of the mortal remains of her Guru in Pondicherry .

WORSHIP OF JEEVA SAMADHI IS THE ONLY SOLUTION
Jeeva Samadhi means the place where the mortal remains of the individual saints, sages, yogis and siddhas is buried to radiate for ever the same power as they had done with the physical body. When these noble souls shed their physical bodies, the bodies are usually buried with many divine substances like camphor, sandal , turmeric, fragrances along with special herbs . Such a ritual explains the phenomenon that they have just shed these physical bodies to take up another form in another place to serve as a divine messenger again and again and again. Only their physical bodies will be different in various forms but they do not disappear at all.

THE POWER OF THE EYES Mother Aurobindo
We already explained that mother Aurobindo had the concentrates of the energies of all the five natural elements of which this world is made within the eyes. Mother Aurobindo was capable of transmitting the required level of energy to thousands and thousands of people in a crowd instantly. Hence mother Aurobindo never used to look at anything or any body deeply.

Mother Aurobindo, with all the affection and love of mother was conversing with human beings, the celestial angels, the animals and the plants to give solace.

The divine rays that emanate from the Jeeva Samadhi of mother Aurobindo radiates to millions and millions of miles, blossoms to fulfil required the divine blessings to all . These beneficial Yogic rays usually get transmitted from the jeeva samadhi through the vestibule, underground water streams, air particles in the ambience, the flowers in the garden, the leaves and roots of the trees. This is a celestial phenomenon and a divine wonder.

Those who remain dejected for want of a spiritual guide (Guru) should meditate in her Jeeva Samadhi on Sundays. It is the divine decree from the siddhas (who are direct messengers of the Almighty and no one can gauge or try to analyze their origin, the depth of power or their disappearance. Usually they have such an ordinary and simple life style . we usually do not realize that they are siddhas and our ignorance suits their purpose well!) that Mother Aurobindo is one of the holiest saints of our time and surrendering ourselves at her lotus feet will lead to salvation.

OUR WORLD IS NOT THE ONLY ONE
Science is yet to realize and establish there are millions and millions of worlds like ours in the galaxy . Mother Aurobindo consoles the devotees in all the worlds and provides an umbrella of comfort and protection from their miseries and agonies.
