November 16, 2008 - Third Vishnupathi of the Sarvadhari Year

Sri Seetha Lakshmi and Lord Kodanda Rama Temple in Sitthanakkudi

The Third Vishnupathi auspicious time period of the Sarvadhaari year occurs on late night November 15 IST and continues into the morning of November 16, 2008 IST. Observe this occasion according to the Siddha worship procedures described in the September, October and November 2008 issues of Sri Agasthia Vijayam, our monthly magazine.

Click here to learn more about Vishnupathi and why it is important. As we have mentioned numerous times before, the time period from 0130 hours to 1030 hours is extremely auspicious on each Vishnupathi Day. Make sure that you use these 9 hours wisely by devoting yourself to pure Narayana Bhakti and worship at least during this period.

The Divinities for this Vishnupathi

The temple of honor during this Vishnupati on Nov 16, 2008 is the Kodanda Rama Temple in Sitthanakkudi (near Thiruvarur - Koradacheri - Velukudi).

Lord Sri Kodanda Rama presides over this temple along with Mother Sita Lakshmi. They are the divinities of honor during this Vishnuapthy.

Siddha Revelations on this Temple

Here are some Siddha revelations given to us by Sathguru Venkataraman on the Sitthankkudi Temple of Mother Sita Lakshmi and Lord Kodanda Rama.
  • Embellished with 64 Lakshmi avatar shaktis, Mother Sita Devi adorns this temple as Sita Lakshmi. This is a powerful manifestation of the Mother.
  • By the command of Lord Shri Ram, this is the SeethaLakshmi manifestation for the Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga and Kali Yuga.
  • Lord Hanuman did penance for a long time and requested Mother Sita to be present here in the same form in 3 yugas.
  • Maha Guru Agasthiar, realizing by his divine inner sight that Mother Sita was going to leave the world along with Mother Bhooma Devi, prayed to Mother Seetha and requested Her to bless at least this one place on earth with Her Lakshmi avatar shaktis permanently.
  • Vasishta Maharishi, the Guru of Lord Shri Ram Himself, did bhoomi puja here and endowed this place with Vaastu shakti.
  • Vasishta Maharishi also performed a special homa fire ceremony here as part of a special worship known as Amrita Lakshana Sri Sooktha Puja. This special fire ceremony is known as Amrita Gritha Vaataka Homa and is a secret of the Siddhas and Brahma Rishis like Vasishta. The great Brahma Rishi having done this special homa here charged this place with homa shakti thus making it a great place for performing homa fire ceremonies.
  • This is a Lakshmi Dhana Shakti sacred spot. All Lakshmi shaktis are present in this powerful temple thus making it one of the important places for those interested in wealth shakti and wealth related blessings.

Special Blessings at this Temple on this Vishnupathi Day

With Mother Sita present here as Sri Lakshmi Devi Herself, this temple is charged with powerful Lakshmi Shakti that can give devotees relief from problems such as
  • loan hassles,
  • dysfunctional marriages,
  • childlessness and
  • lack of mental peace.

The Vaastu shakti in this temple offers special blessings for those in the construction business.

Make use of these blessings that Mother SitaLakshmi and Lord Kodhanda Rama so lovingly give Their devotees here in this powerful temple.

What you have read above are only a few of the revelations given to us by the Sathguru, Guru Mangala Gandharva Venkataraman regarding this temple. There are many more Siddha secrets regarding this temple.

For more information, please refer to the September, October and November 2008 issues of our monthly magazine.

May we all be showered with the blessings of Mother Seetha Lakshmi and Lord Sri Kodanda Rama on this Vishnupathi day.
