A Very Special Day for Spiritual Upliftment

"Harischandra Satya Prakasa Pournami" Full Moon Day

When?

Ohm. Harischandra Satya Prakasa Pournami Full Moon Day of July 2010 in the Aadi Month (maasam) of the Vikruti Year (varusham)
FROM 5:14 a.m. IST on 25 July 2010
TO 7:07 a.m. IST on 26 July 2010,
i.e., FROM late night (vedic) July 24
TO the morning of (vedic) July 26.

Perform Arunachala Girivalam on the night of July 25, 2010.

Why is this a Very Special Day?

25 July 2010 =
Harischandra Satya Prakasa Shakti Pournami Full Moon Day
+ Vajra Jyothi Sakthi Pournami Day
+ Hari Siva Sayana Pournami Day
+ Vyasa Pooja Day
+ Kokila Vrata Day.

What is so special about this day? The Pournami Full Moon thithi covers all 60 naazhikais of the Vedic day of 25 July 2010 making this a Harischandra Satya Prakasa Pournami Full Moon day.

This is special by itself but this day becomes even more special because it coincides with other major Kaala (Time) Shaktis such as:
Hari Siva Sayana Pournami Full Moon Day,
Vyasa Pooja Day and
Kokila Vrata Day
in the Aadi month (maasam)
of the Vikruti year (varusham).

This confluence of many rare Kaala (Time) shaktis is a very rare occurence making this a Very Special Day for those seeking spiritual upliftment.

[ Many classifications such as: Harischandra Satya Prakasa Pournami, Hari Hara Sathya Prakasa Pournami, Hari Siva Chandra Prakasa Pournami, etc. ]

The Siddha secrets regarding this special day have been covered in more than 10 pages in the July 2010 issue of Sathguru Venkataraman's monthly magazine released in mid June 2010. Refer to that issue for more information.

Satya Jyoti on this Day - the Sacred Lustre of Truth

25 July 2010 is a special day for appreciating the Sacred Lustre of Truth and for consciously inculcating it in one's daily life.

Like the full moon, the radiance of Truth shines forth in the faces of true devotees and Siddhas. This is what is referred to as tejas.

The devotee Abhirami Bhattar was so immersed in the worship of the Universal Mother Abirami that when he was asked what tithi was in effect that day, he mistakenly said Pournami (full moon) when in reality it was Amavasya (new moon).

The devotee had uttered something that was untrue, but because his mind was completely immersed in true devotion, the Divine Mother rectified Her devotee's mistake by making the "Satya Prakasa" radiant glow of the full moon appear in the sky on a new moon day. Thus what was untrue was made true by the Universal Mother.

This is the victory of the force of bhakti (devotion) over kaala (time) shaktis effected by the Universal Mother's compassion which was catalysed by the force of the Satya Prakasa of devotion.

25 July 2010 is a day on which you too can catalyse the force of true devotion and thus get closer to the Sacred Lustre of Truth.

Sacred Spaces for this Special Day

Arunachala and other Divine Light Shakti sacred spaces such as AiyarMalai, Thiruparangundram, Trichy Rockfort, Tirumala Tirupati, Thirukolakudi, Kundrakudi, the area surrounding the MahaMagha sacred pond in Kumbakonam, OliMadhi, etc. are very important on this special day.

The OliMadhi temple near Needamangalam (in Tiruvarur district) is of special importance on this day.

Benefit 1: Help for Chronic Liars

[ The problem of chronic lying. The sadness caused by a lying husband, a lying wife and lying children. How it affects their near and dear. How this special day helps such people. ]

The Harischandra Satya Prakasa Pournami worship on 25 July 2010 helps chronic liars and their near and dear affected by their chronic lying. One of the facets of this Siddha worship procedure is to give sweets made with honey to kids during your Arunachala GiriValam (circling the Arunachala Hill) on the night of 25 July 2010 and at the other sacred spaces mentioned above.

Benefit 2: Satya, Bhakti, Gnana, Chastity, Tyaga

[ The Pure Light form of
Sathya (Truth),
Bhakti (devotion),
Gnana (spiritual wisdom),
fully preserved Chastity,
Tyaga (selfless sacrifice) and
the spiritual intellect (the vast, divine ratiocinating ability that is present in our brain) ]

This Harischandra Satya Prakasa Pournami day of 25 July 2010 showers the blessings of Satya, Bhakti, Gnana, Chaste Life and Tyaga the world over, especially on those who practice the Siddha worship procedures prescribed for this day such as circling Arunachala and circling/worshipping at the sacred spaces mentioned above.

Benefit 3: Get Relief from the Adharma of Lies on this Day

The sad fact of this Kali Yuga - the current age of deceit, deception and falsehood - is that there is very little truth in the lives, spoken words and written words of modern man and in the media (newspapers, TV, Internet).

Truth is hidden or twisted in every conceivable way by humans, organizations and nations for the sake of their individual agendas.

The air waves and our environs have been corrupted by the evil shakti of lying. The very air we breathe has been permeated everywhere by the vice of lying.

But is this something to be surprised about? Not at all. This is after all the nature of this Kali Yuga.

But even in this Kali Yuga, the compassionate Divine Master provides special times and days (such as 25 July 2010) to purify the five elements (earth, water, fire, wind and atmosphere) that have been contaminated by the evil shakti of lying and twisting/hiding the truth.

On this day, bathe yourself in the Satya Prakasa Jyoti Light of the Full Moon by circling the holy Arunachala Hill and by worshipping at the sacred spaces mentioned above. This will purify one's body and mind and make them more capable of spiritual advancement.

The Mind and its Mischief!

[ Good and bad thoughts in the mind lead to good and bad deeds. How the mind misleads the body and the intellect. How the mind directs them towards improper behaviors and acts. How the mind directs them away from bhakti (devotion). ]

Benefit 4: Purify the Mind on this Day with the Harischandra Satya Prakasa Full Moon

[ The endless battle with the mind in this Kali Yuga. ]
The Moon (Chandra) is known as manas karaka, the significator of the Mind.
Bathing yourself in the soft light of the Harischandra Satya VAJRA SHAKTI Pournami Full Moon on this night in the process of worship at Arunachala and the sacred spaces mentioned above. This will purify the mind and thus help us stand tall in the battle with the mind.

What is Life?

Sathguru Venkataraman said that the interplay of
Karma + Body + Mind + World + Time = Life! To regulate and channelize one's life properly, these five aspects of life need to be regulated.

Benefit 5: Regulating one's Life on this Special Day

The special blessing of regulating the above mentioned five aspects of one's life through the proper use of the five elements (earth, water, fire, wind, atmosphere) is made available on this Harischandra Sathya Prakasa Pournami Full Moon day. Make good use of it.

Rig Veda Shakti on this Special Day

This Harischandra Satya Prakasa Pournami Full Moon is a Rig Veda Shakti day.

Everyone of us must learn the Vedas, said Sathguru Venkataraman, but very few do so.

So how can people get Veda Shakti? By chanting the Tamil Vedas, said Sathguru Venkataraman.

What are Tamil Vedas?

What are the Tamil Vedas? Sacred works of the great saints such as Thevaram, Thiruvasagam, Divya Prabandham, Thirupugazh, Thiru Arutpa, Thirumanthiram - these are the Tamil Vedas. These are the distilled essence of the Vedas.

Reciting these regularly will easily fill one with Veda Shakti, said Sathguru Venkataraman.

Mantras with Rig Veda Shakti - Siddha Secrets

Other mantras with Rig Veda Shakti include:
the Gayatri Mantra,
the Ratri Sukta hymn,
the Agamarshana Sookta hymn,
the (disease curing) "Aksheebyaam They" sukta mantra,
Saint Vedanta Desika's Vairagya Panchakam hymn,
the Muruga devotee Pamban Swamigal's Pagai Kadithal hymn,
Saint Ramalinga Vallalar's hymns on Lord Rama,
Saint Gnana Sambandhar's Nedungala Padhigam,
Thondaradipodi Alwar's Thirumaalai,
Saint Sundarar's Dhevaram hymns composed on the Lord of Kaanaattampuliyur,
Saint Appar's Dhevaram hymns on the Lord of ThiruNindriyur (near Sirkazhi),
Nammalvar's hymns

and many more.

Veda Shakti Spiritual Aids

Sathguru Venkataraman said that since the people of Kali Yuga are becoming less and less capable of learning the Vedas, the compassionate Lord has made Veda Shakti available to everyone through simple spiritual aids such as:
special Veda Shakti hills,
VedaTirtha sacred ponds,
homam/havan fire ceremonies,
moolika svaasam (breathing in air filled with the fragrance of specific moolika herb plants, creepers and trees)
mantra chanting and
Tamil Veda recitations.

Benefit 6: Get Veda Shakti easily on this Special Day

By using the above mentioned Veda Shakti spiritual aids on this special day, you can lay a solid foundation for inculcating Veda Shakti (the force of Truth) in your everyday life.

Note that lying, bribery and similar vices are a rejection of Veda Shakti. So to get Veda Shakti, one must reject these vices.
