The primordial form of Ganesh with a human face is known as Adi Vinayaka. Adi = primordial, ancient.

This was His divine form before He became the ever popular Gajanana and Yaanai Mugathon, i.e., elephant faced deity.

Because of the human face, this Adi Vinayaka divine form is also known as "Nara Mukha" Vinayaka.

Nara = Human, Mukha = Face and thus "Human Faced" Ganesh as opposed to the elephant faced deity that we know and love.

In our monthly magazine, we have indicated three sacred spaces where this ancient form of Lord Ganesh can be seen.

Below, we give you darshan pics of two of these three divine forms.

The Thiladhaipadhi Sacred Space

One of these sacred spaces is the Pitru Moksha (ancestor salvation) Temple of Universal Mother Swarnavalli and Lord SHIVA Muktheeswara in a place known as Thiladhaipadhi. The Adi Vinayaka shrine is just outside the entrance to this Shiva Temple.

Thiladhaipadhi is also known as Sedhalapadhi and Kovilpatthu.

The Thilathaipathi sacred space is mentioned frequently in Sathguru Venkataraman's Siddha writings because of its importance as a Pitru Mukti Temple.

Just a few Adi Vinayaka Siddha Secrets

Here are just a few Siddha secrets (from Sathguru Venkataraman's Siddha writings) regarding the worship of the Adi Vinayaka deity form in Thiladhaipadhi.

Just a few of the Siddha Secrets given by Sathguru Venkataraman regarding this powerful Adi Ganesh deity:
(1) Aadhi Ganesh of Thilathaipathi is worshipped by Maha Guru Agasthiar Himself (in physical or subtle form) on every "Sankatahara Chathurthi" Day.
(2) Those who want the blessing of peaceful, cordial relationships in the family (between parents, grandparents, kids, grandkids) should worship this Adi Ganesh of Thiladhaipadhi.
(3) This Adi Ganesh deity also gives the blessing of good memory to kids and students. See page scan below.
There is a lot more regarding this sacred space.

Location

The Thilathaipathi sacred space is near Mayiladuthurai - Peralam. Mother Saraswati's great Kootanur temple and Mother Lalita's great Thirumeeyachur temple are nearby.
