Lord Soorya Tainted

Daksha's unholy yagna fire ceremony and his treachery towards Lord Shiva.

Lord Soorya's problems arising out of His having associated with Daksha.

The very act of just being present amidst evil or associating even just a bit with evil minds taints one too.

Lord Soorya tainted by Daksha's treachery towards Lord Shiva. Loss of shakti.

The exacting process of absolving oneself of such a serious blemish and regaining lost shakti.

Mother Svarchalamba Devi

The intense heat of Lord Surya.

Mother Svarchalamba, the consort of Surya, is not able to withstand this agni shakti.

She leaves to perform spiritual austerities to get the shakti to withstand the agni of Soorya.

The departure of the consort is another source of problems for Lord Soorya.

"Halahala" Venom and the world of Soorya

The "desire" of the Devas and Asuras.

The unholy evil nexus of desire, selfishness and greed. But there is always a price to be paid.

Terror stricken Devas and Asuras.

How selfishness manifests as venom.

The Halahala venom.

How the venom affected Soorya Loka...

Mohini

The "leela" play of Lord Maha Vishnu as Mohini Moorthi.

Rahu, Ketu and Soorya, Chandra. Their respective roles.

The seizing of Soorya and Chandra by Rahu and Ketu - what it means...

Its impact on Soorya and Chandra Lokas.

The Role of Soorya and Chandra as "Eternal Witnesses" of the Actions of ALL Beings

The resulting burden and loss of shakti.

Advice given by "Valakilya" Maharishis to Lord Surya.

Netra (eye) shakti sacred spaces. Dantha (teeth) shakti sacred spaces. Bhujamsa (arm, hand) shakti sacred spaces.

Paruthiyur Sacred Space

Paridhi = Sun. Paridhiyur is the sacred place where Paridhi (Sun) did intense tapasya.

It is this Paridhiyur that is now known as Paruthiyur.

"Eye of Wisdom" Sacred Pond in Paruthiyur

The Siddha name of the sacred pond in Parithiyur is "GnanaNetra Theertham" which means the "Eye of Wisdom" sacred pond.

Lord Soorya's Tapasya (Penance)

Lord Surya's rigorous penance in many sacred spaces including Paruthiyur.

Lord Soorya's holy dip in the "Eye of Wisdom" sacred pond during each of the many "muhurta" sacred times of each day. (Click here for a few of the many sacred muhurta times of each day.)

Redemption

Lord Shri Ram - the crest jewel of the Soorya (Sun) dynasty.

Lord Surya's intense worship of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Kalyana Varadaraja Perumal in the sacred space of Paruthiyur. http://www.Agasthiar.Org/a/rnapr2011.htm

As a result of this intense worship, Lord Surya got darshan of Lord Shri Ram as Soorya Narayana here. Relief from problems including the blemish caused by unholy association with the treacherous Daksha.

Siddha Worship on 12 April 2011

As instructed by Sathguru Venkataraman, worship with sandalwood paste (chandana kaappu) is offered to Lord Shri Ram on His Avatar Day (Rama Navami) and Lord Shiva on the Sadayam nakshatra (24th nakshatra) day of the Chitirai month.

This Siddha worship has been happening for many years, by the grace of Lord Rama and Lord Shiva, in special sacred spaces.

This year, this special "chandana kaappu" sandalwood paste worship will be in the shrine of Lord Sri Kodanda Rama in Parithiyur, by His Grace.

You can make sandalwood paste too (as described in this link to an article written several years ago) and drop it off in Sathguru Venkataraman's bookstores in Chennai and Trichy for use in these Siddha worship procedures.

Please note that sandalwood paste has to be made by hand with great care as described in the article linked above. Only sandalwood paste made according to these strict standards can be used. Sandalwood powders are NOT acceptable in worship. This point cannot be overemphasized.
